Over the years, we have received numerous calls from students and their parents looking for information for school reports. We hope that this section and others that we will have like it, will provide children and adults with background into how our present Republican Party came into being, while also showing the influence that the party has had on our country.
Our goal is to find ways to help children and adults better understand our government, its institutions, and the people who run it, so they can more effectively participate in our government. If we do not become responsible for our government, it will not be responsible to us. We welcome any ideas as to how we can better achieve this goal.
Where do the Republicans fit into the the history of the presidency? See the complete list of American Presidents.
